The Ilkeston Advertiser reports that an accounts manager stole almost £10,000 from his employer including using the owner’s company credit card to buy a 55-inch TV.

A court heard how Paul Barsby used a company fuel card to fill the tank of his own car, and paid himself more than £2,000 in cash.

Thieving Spree Netted £14,000

The North Wales Live website reports that a pair of shoplifters took items worth more than £14,000 from shops across North Wales, in a deliberate and targeted thieving spree.

Alexander Andrew James Foster stole items worth £11,652 and his accomplice, Andrew Leigh Martin, took goods valued at £2,452.

Gas Engineer Stole Tools

According to Stoke On Trent Live, a ‘wound up’ gas engineer who was suspended from his job, stole tools from his firm’s van in retaliation.

Reece Pace also ordered goods worth over £500 from various trade suppliers on behalf of his ex-employer, Shore Mechanical Services [SMS].

The Daily Record reports that a mum-of-two with an expensive cocaine habit embezzled hundreds of thousands of pounds from a SECOND trusting employer.

Kerryanne Clarke pocketed nearly £255,000 over three years from Govan-based Bell Building Projects Ltd., by taking cash and fraudulently using a company credit card.

Shoplifting Falls In Cirencester

The Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard website reports that thefts from shops have decreased in Cirencester according to recent police figures, bucking the national trend.

Police say that the reduction in crime is down to police successfully obtaining Criminal Behaviour Orders [CBO] for repeat offenders, banning them from all shops in the city.
