The Telegraph and Argus website reports that a bakery worker stole £20,000 from her employer but only has to repay £10 of her ill-gotten gains.
Joan Whitrick, who stole the money from Just Desserts in Shipley, had been told by a judge in January that the cash would have to be paid back, “even if it takes you the rest of your days to do it”.
