The Birmingham Live website reports that a shoplifter told a court how she was ‘embarrassed’ over her theft of £310-woth of perfume and clothes.

Sophia Loukelo admitted the offence of theft from Selfridges after being spotted acting suspiciously on CCTV, and being stopped by security.

The Examiner Live website reports that a teenager went on a shoplifting spree because she “didn’t have nice things”.
