The Yorkshire Evening Post website reports that a shoplifter was arrested after he was found with magnets in his boxer shorts.

A court heard that Terrence Miles used an “improvised item” in his underwear to remove security tags from clothing at a White Company store in Leeds.

The Lancashire Telegraph website reports that a mum and son shoplifting team cleared a whole shelf of cosmetics in a branch of Boots, worth £1,364.

Ramona and Sebastian Gavril even returned to the same store three weeks later to steal sun cream worth £449.

The Manchester Evening News website reports that a serial shoplifter has been banned from wearing a hat or any headgear in any supermarket.
