Pregnant Kettle Thief Jailed
The Wilts & Gloucester Standard reports that a pregnant shoplifter who stole a kettle has been jailed for 11 weeks.
Kathleen Shiel, said to be 10 weeks off her due date, had raided Wilko twice in a day, each time stealing a kettle, and two days later she went back to take coffee, tea, sugar and a knife set.

Gemma Whalley tried to steal perfume and clothes, which breached a suspended prison sentence that had been handed to her when she threw a vodka bottle at another woman.
