‘Desperate’ Thieves Targeted Asda
Stoke On Trent Live reported that a ‘desperate’ couple targeted a branch of Asda and tried to steal over £260-worth of food and alcohol, but were tracked around the store on CCTV.
Kelvin Cox and Hannah Hemmings had planned to eat the food and sell the alcohol to supplement their £20-a-week benefits.

According to the Manchester Evening News, a prolific thief who threatened a supermarket security guard with a hypodermic needle has been jailed for two-and-a-half years.
