Cashier Stole £12k From Employer

The Macclesfield Express reports that a petrol station cashier stole almost £12,000 from his employer, Spring Petroleum Ltd. Terence Oakes tampered with a fuel card payment system to pocket cash whilst working at Monks Heath services – offending over a four month period and stealing an amount totalling £11,851.

Courier Stole £6k-Worth Of Parcels

The Swindon Advertiser reports that a courier could face jail after he stole almost £6,000-worth of parcels from his employer, Hermes.

Dawid Orzazewski pleaded guilty to taking 60 parcels that had been scanned as arriving at a sub-depot but which were subsequently reported as missing.

Valentine Craciun was found with two tops and a shirt stuffed under the costume, a magnetic tag remover and three tags at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent.

Thomas Cook Employee Jailed For £60k Fraud

According to the Travel Weekly website, a Thomas Cook employee has been jailed for nearly five years for defrauding the travel firm – and a previous employer – out of more than £60,000.

Angelika Schell treated herself to lunches, flights abroad, and taxis rides to work with her company credit card, stealing £37,000 over two years.

According to the South Wales Argus, businesses in Newport who are affected by crime, have come forward saying they believe police should do more to help them.
